Profile
I have several years of experience as a professional audio engineer, sound designer, and musician. I'm currently working in The Loft NY recording as a recording and mixing engineer. I graduated cum laude from Syracuse University's Setnor School of Music with a Bachelor's in Sound Recording Technology. Along with my work in audio, I also am an experienced educator, having taught private instrumental and audio engineering lessons for two years. I also have experience as a business administrator as well, having been a part of growing my local music school into one of the most successful franchises in the country.
Experience
I've been fortunate enough to have worked with several clients in both the music and film industries. In the spring of 2021, I received the Setnor School of Music SRT Faculty Award for "showing the highest level of personal, technical, academic, and artistic leadership within the program." During my time working at Diamond City Studios in Brooklyn NY, I helped run sessions for bands such as Acid Dad, The Cowmen, and Jade Bird. I've produced several full length commercial releases, such as Fümes latest EP.
Skills
Along with being an audio engineer; I have over fifteen years of experience as a bass player and guitar player. I played in the Morton Schiff Jazz Ensemble for four years and was the recipient of the Morton Schiff Jazz Award in 2021. I was also the Principle Bassist in the Syracuse University Symphony Orchestra and received the Setnor Performance Award for Strings. I also have experience in live sound for several large and small scale music venues along with my experience as a music and audio educator and administrator.
Tools
I am proficient with several digital audio workstations such as Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, and Ableton Live. I am also familiar with Google's Drive suite and Microsoft Office. I also have a basic understanding of, and experience with, Python.
